Things To Do In Orlando
When most people think about Orlando Florida, the first association that they have is with Disney World. Disney World, after all, is what first put Orlando on the map. In reality, however, it is only one of several activities in Orlando. No matter what your interest ins you will be able to find something that is fun for you.
Obviously, Disney World is one of the best activities for kids to do in Orlando. There is so much there that you could spend your whole vacation and still not see all of it. There are amusement rides, towns set up along different themes, fireworks shows, parades, and many other attractions. Disney World, however, is not the only thing for children to do in Orlando. As a matter of fact, it would not be overstating the case to say that the whole city is a wonderful place for children. For example, Sea World is the greatest amusement park I have ever seen. There are killer whales, dolphins, and many other fascinating aquatic animals to watch. Many of them perform, and you can also watch the park staff at certain times feeding them.
Of course, no trip to Orlando Florida would be complete without going to Universal Studios. It is one of the best things to do in Orlando because it interests both kids and adults. Disney World is fantastic for children, but parents may find it a little bit monotonous after a while. Also, the luxurious hotel resorts in Orlando might be paradise for the parents, but sitting around in a hot tub all day may not be a child’s idea of fun. Universal Studios Florida, however, is a drawcard everyone. After all, who is fascinated by movies and Hollywood magic?
Unfortunately, in most of the guides on activities in Orlando, people tend to focus on the theme parks and neglect some of the other features that the city may have to offer. Orlando is a world-class city, and has everything a major metropolitan city has to offer. There are awe-inspiring shows, great dining, and excellent museums as well. One of the best things to do in Orlando is to see Cirque du Soleil. I went to a show last time I was in Florida, and I have to say that it was one of the high points of my trip. Seeing it on the television just does not do justice to it. You have to see it live to believe.
