Phoenix, the state capital, offers a wide variety of museums and attractions. The Arizona Science Center features planetarium shows and films on its five?story IMAX screen, along with hands?on demonstrations covering electricity, magnetism, gravity, and more. Exhibits explore aerospace, weather, and energy conservation, all located within the Heritage and Science Park. Kids especially enjoy the Summer Science Camp hosted by the center.

Another highlight is the Heard Museum, dedicated to Native American art and artifacts, including Hopi dolls and traditional jewelry. The Phoenix Zoo also draws many visitors with its four themed sections: the Africa Trail, the Tropics Trail, the Discovery/Children’s Trail, and the Arizona Trail, which showcases local wildlife and native plants.

Tucson, the second?largest city in Arizona, is home to one of the state’s most impressive attractions—the Pima Air and Space Museum. Opened in 1976, it features more than 250 aircraft and artifacts from the United States and around the world, spanning military, civil, and commercial aviation. Many of the pieces on display are exceptionally rare, including World War II aircraft and the Air Force One used by President John F. Kennedy. The museum sits right next to Davis–Monthan Air Force Base, adding even more depth to the experience.
