The nearby Alexanderplatz is currently being turned into a shopping zone. With the opening of the big ALEXA Shopping Mall, past the town hall and “Galeria Kaufhof” department store, a new shopping paradise has been created. The lively atmosphere of the famous Alexanderplatz invites you to experience a special shopping trip. Whether you seek fashion, beauty, electronics or culinary items, you can find everything in the 180 stores of the Alexa shopping mall.

For label lovers, a visit of the “Oranienburger Strasse” or the “Hackeschen Höfe” is a must: there are lots of trendy and exclusive international fashion designers here. The “Hackescher Markt”, the “Hackeschen Höfe” and the surrounding streets have already become a “tourist must” due to the diverse variety of art, culture and commerce. The yellow subway runs on the elevated subway track at the junction “Eberswalder Strasse” and you can find another shopping zone full of trendy clothes here. There is also a large shopping mall in the new centre of Berlin; “the Potsdamer Platz”. In the east you can shop without stress and there are exclusive and offbeat things to discover. The best thing is just to wander through the streets, so you can find the best shops.
