Beach Holidays are the Most Common Choice of Vacation
When summer arrives many people turn to thoughts of the cool breeze of the sea, sandy beaches and long tall drinks with little umbrellas on them – who can resist such scenarios?
Beach Holidays
The most popular choice in summer time is the beach holiday. People around the world travel the globe in order to get to the desired beach or seashore. Beach holidays literarily offer it all – sun, sea, and a great tan, which always helps improve one’s looks.
Tips to make your beach holidays safe and enjoyable:
Sun protection – while a tan may look great year round, and especially in summer time, it is imperative that you do not expose yourself to sun without a UV protection. The sun offers us vitamin D and E through its warm rays, but also burns our skin, causing premature aging and wrinkles as well as the most feared disease – cancer.
SPF and UV protection – When exposing yourself directly to the sun try and use sun protection that ensures at least 15 SPF factor, this will keep the ultra violet rays at bay, and yet allow you to get the desired glow.
Water – Do not allow yourself to get dehydrated – this is the most common mistake that is made on beach holidays. Keep water always close by and try to consume at least two liters a day or more if you are engaging in any beach activities or sports.
Tanning – We all want a great tan as soon as possible but over exposure to the sun will burn your skin and not give you the tan desired so, practice exposing to the sun a little bit at a time. It will give you a great glow and keep you in good health as well.
Clothes – Wearing loose fitted clothes are advised during hot summer days, especially in beach resorts. Due to the excess heat, the body retains water and you will experience swelling of feet, hands, and sometimes over all the body parts.
Hair care – Sun does not damage only your skin but also your hair, especially during beach holidays when we spend a lot of time in the seawater, which contains salt and other such minerals. Carry sun protective mouse and hydrating masks for your hair, which you can use regularly when you take your shower.
Beach holidays are great fun, and by taking a few minutes to plan and put in practice some of the advice found here, it can become a memory to cherish a long time after it has ended.
